With the development and progress of society, people's living standards continue to improve, health awareness also continues to strengthen, and the use of diaper is becoming more and more common. This paper briefly introduces the manufacturing process and core technology of nappy.
The raw materials of diaper generally include non-woven fabric, toilet paper, high absorption core layer (absorbent resin and fluff pulp), bottom membrane (PE membrane), rubber band, adhesive tape (front + left and right), waist elastic band, etc. Although the styles on the market at this stage are dazzling, the structure is basically the same. Generally speaking, its structure can be divided into four parts from top to bottom: surface coating, diversion layer, absorption core layer and bottom layer, of which the absorption core layer is the most important part. Adult and infant products are basically the same. The only difference is that the excretion caused by adult incontinence is more than that caused by infants. Therefore, some manufacturers have added a layer of absorbent toilet paper between the bottom membrane and the absorption core layer, so as to improve its absorption and enhance its impermeability.
In terms of production process, Huggiesdiapers have less waist tape and peripheral molding steps than diaper, and the processing technology is relatively simple. Taking the basic type as an example, this paper outlines how to use the above raw materials to manufacture finished products: pulp → crushing → molding → fixing the absorption core and absorbent paper (glue spraying) → embossing → cutting, forming the periphery of the absorption core and absorbent paper → first molding and cutting Required length of absorption core layer → fix PE film and elastic line (glue spraying) → stick adhesive tape at will → apply self-adhesive tape → peripheral molding → longitudinal three fold → second molding and cutting → transverse three fold → transportation → arrangement → packaging → sterilization (ethylene oxide, nondestructive sterilization) → finished products warehousing
Dryness is an important index to determine the comfort of diaper. It has three key indicators: absorption rate, back osmosis and side leakage. Among them, the key to the absorption rate and the amount of reinjection is the "absorption core", and the ability to prevent side leakage depends on the design of the "diversion layer". Therefore, these two parts are also the key links of excellent products.
(1) The absorption core layer determines its water absorption capacity. It consists of two key raw materials: super absorbent polymer (SAP) and fluff pulp.
(2) The guide layer is a special nonwoven material, which is placed between the surface layer and the absorption core layer. It can effectively help the liquid to quickly conduct inward from the surface coating material and spread vertically, so that the liquid can quickly leave the user's skin and be evenly absorbed by the core layer, so as to avoid local thickening due to centralized liquid absorption and hinder the subsequent urine absorption by SAP.
(3) The non-woven fabric is the part wrapped outside the absorption core layer. Traditional fabrics are made of silk, cotton, wool and other natural fibers, while non-woven fabrics are generally made of plastic resins, such as nylon, polyester and other short fibers or filaments, which are oriented or randomly supported to form a fiber mesh structure, and then reinforced by mechanical, thermal bonding or chemical methods. Non woven fabric has the characteristics of moisture-proof, breathable, flexible and light weight, which is especially suitable for the production of absorbent sanitary products.
Diaper is the consumption upgrading of traditional industrial paper and household paper. In recent years, its market penetration has been rising, and the market competition is also very fierce. Understanding the manufacturing process and core technology of nappy is conducive to people's better use of it.
