The basic properties of super Imitation cotton polyester Spunlaced Nonwovens in diaper pailss were tested, including thickness, mechanical properties, pore diameter and air permeability. The basic properties of super Imitation cotton polyester spunlaced nonwovens, ordinary polyester spunlaced nonwovens and ES hot air nonwovens are compared and analyzed.
The thickness of nonwovens increases linearly with the increase of surface density; Under the same surface density, the thickness of ordinary polyester spunlaced nonwovens is greater than that of super Imitation cotton spunlaced nonwovens, which reflects the full absorption of spunlaced energy by super Imitation cotton spunlaced nonwovens, which is related to super Imitation cotton grafted nylon 66. A large number of hydrophilic groups can better absorb water needle energy, make the material closer and reflect the small thickness; With the increase of ES fiber content, the thickness of super Imitation cotton spunlaced nonwovens is also increasing at a certain density. This is because after hot air treatment, a large number of ES fibers are thermally bonded with super Imitation cotton polyester. This bonding state increases the gap and pore size between the materials. With the increase of the proportion of ES fibers, the materials become more fluffy, thus increasing the thickness.
Through the test, the thickness of hot air nonwovens is about 5 times that of spunlaced nonwovens. This is due to the fact that the hot air nonwovens are not reinforced after carding, and the fiber web is fluffy and directly thermally bonded. The thickness of spunlaced material is not only related to the reinforcement method and fiber raw materials, but also related to the reinforcement technology in the process of spunlaced.
In the process of spunlaced, the relationship between surface density and thickness of super Imitation cotton polyester spunlaced nonwovens. It can be seen that the thickness of materials with the same surface density is different under different water needle energy; The thickness of super Imitation cotton polyester spunlaced nonwovens is less than twice the water needle energy. With the increase of water needle energy, the fiber is more affected by water needle and the entanglement between fibers is closer; However, the excessive energy of the water needle may lead to the rupture of the material and further reduce the thickness.
Under the same surface density, the longitudinal and transverse strength of ordinary polyester spunlaced nonwovens is greater than that of super Imitation cotton polyester spunlaced nonwovens. From the perspective of fiber, we can draw these two conclusions: first, under the same length, the fineness and linear density of ordinary polyester are less than that of super cotton like polyester. Under the same surface density, the smaller the linear density of fibers, the more the number of fibers, and the larger the contact area between fibers, which increases the sliding resistance between fibers and improves the strength of nonwovens; The strength of the fiber itself also affects the strength of nonwovens to a certain extent. Under the same surface density, with the increase of ES fiber content, the strength of super Imitation cotton polyester spunlaced nonwovens also increases, because with the increase of ES fiber content, the thermal bonding point between fibers increases, which improves the strength of nonwovens to a certain extent. The fiber web adopts the straight combing process without cross laying, so most of the fibers are arranged vertically, so the vertical tensile strength of nonwovens is much greater than the horizontal tensile strength.
After experimental tests, the material properties of diaper pailss will also change with their processes and materials. Therefore, we should sum up experience through repeated tests in order to continuously optimize the performance of diaper pails products.
